The new microSikaru shower controller V3 is a logical further development of the previous mikroSikaru shower control system for private small amateur brewing plants (20-80l).
The compact control allows certain hobs to be controlled remotely via a 230V radio-controlled socket and switched according to the temperature value measured via the temperature sensor. Up to 3600W can be switched with the corresponding 230V radio-power socket, which can be used to power the manual high-pressure plate, which is popular with hobby brewers, for example.
With the help of the free mikroSikaru Brausteuer application for Android mobile devices, brewing concepts can be easily created. Older mobile phones with Android 2.2 can also be used. The application offers up to 16 freely programmable brewing levels, which can be used for mashing as well as for different hop additions during cooking. After each step, you can wait for a confirmation and additionally be signaled by a barking call. Once a recipe has been created, it can be saved for later use or reuse.
After the brewing process has started, the application displays the brewing progress. In addition, a brew log is created, which can be loaded, among other things, in a spreadsheet program.
If the Bluetooth connection between Brauteruerung and mobile device breaks off, the Brausteuerung continues to work autonomously. Even with a loss of power of the Brausteuerung brewing is continued from the last state, as soon as the power supply is available again.
The temperature is controlled by a two-step control. In addition, a pulse-width modulation can be set so that the temperature increase of the heat source can be taken into account. For experts, a PID regulation is also available.
